A Guided Meditation for Daily Practice - New Podcast on the Network! | Pagan's Witchy Corner

In these unprecedented times, we find ourselves filled with more stress, anxiety, and depression than in the past. Too often we find ourselves wrapped up in the cares and concerns of our world and we forget about our wellbeing. When we neglect our wellbeing, it can also lead us to a spiritual disconnect.

One of the best ways for us to connect with ourselves and our spirit is through meditation. The best part is meditation requires nothing but you and it's completely free. I will be providing several meditations for our Occult Sundays. These guided meditations are short but allow you to take time for yourself to just breathe.

If you are new to meditation let me tell you about some of the reasons you might want to consider adopting this daily practice.

  • Meditation is great for stress relief and is one of the ways we can lower the amount of our stress hormone, cortisol.

  • It can help improve your short-term memory.

  • Meditation is linked to more creativity and fostering new ideas.

  • Meditation can help manage anxiety and depression.*

  • Meditation can help lower high blood pressure.*

  • Meditation can help you relax to sleep better.

  • It can relax your nervous system and aid in relieving muscle tension.

  • It can boost your self-esteem and aid in motivation.

  • It can boost your immune system.

  • And so much more!

In the beginning, it is hard to calm the mind especially when we are stressed and worried about everything we have to take care of in the world around us. Over time with continued practice, the mind eventually learns that when we sit down to meditate that is a moment to be quiet and calm.

This daily meditation allows you to take a few moments just to breathe, tune out the world and connect with yourself. I hope that you enjoy it.
